I was asked by a local library to put a mini model display in their display case at the library entrance. The display case has a different collection in it each month so mine was there for August and I had to pick it up today. I planned to put this post up when it began so that if anyone was near the library they could go and have a look but I forgot my camera and didn't go back until today when it finished. The library was at Phoenix Park near Chadstone Shopping Centre for any Melbournians. My collection is not as extensive as some (Sports 850) however the library staff were very happy with the way I set it up and they said they had a lot of people stopping to look at it every day, kids and adults alike. I didn't take my entire collection because I didn't want to cram too much in and thought a few mags, a kids 'speedy the mini' book and a manual would add appeal to the library theme. It's a bit hard to see but I put a sign in mentioning ausmini for further reference and the VMCI and also the 50th Minishow sticker with the details for next July. The library said any time there was any mini club stuff happening like the minishow I could come in and put a poster up. Anyway, I thought I would put a pic in now just for interest sake so here it is. Cheers.

Yeah, good point. I did put the 'Speedy the mini' kids book on the bottom shelf though! Problem was I started at the top and ran out of models by the bottom only to get home and find another box of models I had forgotten about. Good idea of the library though. Last month was a collection of compasses and now is a collection of orchids. Adds a bit of interest going to the library.
