Hey,

I remember a while back Ian was posting here to gauge interest in a code 3 mini model for ausmini.

I presume it disapeared after the crash, but did we come to any conclusions?

I'm definately still interested!

Matt

Still looking , the problem I hit was trying to find a suitable base model , then I saw some pre release sketches from oxford diecast with the clubmans they were going to release (before BMW killed it off to avoid confusion with their new clubman) and was waiting for that but have now gone back to square one .... I am still working on it though .

Excellent! Anything we can do to help?

Ooh, how about a mini muster code 3 model? How does one do a run of code 3's?

Matt

Get a heap of base models (all the same is the hard bit) and get someone to design and make the logo's you want to add to them and reprint the box inners or whatever you want to do to make it look more professional . You can go all out and repaint or modify but most are just vynil printed stickers onto standard models . There's no legal requirment to do anything with the manufacturer unless you "rebrand it" as your own model (you can brand it as a "Matt68 code3" for example so long as you still have the manufacturers name on the model if it was there originally and on the box if you reuse the original box ) and not the manufacturers . If it was made by corgi it's still a corgi but now a "matt68 code3 corgi" .

Actually , everyone who's interested go to this websight www.oxforddiecast.co.uk and email them asking for the release of the clubman models they were planning as there is a huge market for them down here . A clubman ausmini model or even a roundie and a clubman boxed together would look brilliant .

Hmmm, I have over 100 'hotwheels' minis from the 06 and 07 releases....

Might have to think about that one!

Hmmm, remove bodies, strip paint, chrome plate, vinyl graphics......
