Gday all
Ive been working on this collection for some time now...
I just buy modles that i feel are uniuqe..different....and hopefully worth something in years to come....many years to come as I dont want to sell any till im an old fart...
please note that my beloved wife....god bless her sole loves vw beetles so thats why there in the cubard.....I know.....its bad to mix....but i love her and It keeps her happy....
theres some binis in there as well and all have been bourght buy freinds who think that a mini is a mini.....im slowly setting this thourght in the right direction..
my latest add ins are the minihaha with its original box incuded..and the other red mini next to it...from the matchbox superfast collection...both were bourght from the usa..
i also bourght the other night the best of british light blue austin mini van...
Ive also got some nice mokes in here from the uk as well a blue one and an orange one.
this display cabnet was built about a year ago so ive been a bit lazzy in posting the photos till now.
it has its own downlights installed plus the mini back lit etched sign also works...
hope the photos do it justice.

You have to wonder what the percentage is that Ausmini members hold of all 'limited' edition runs of Minis.

Very nice collection there.

forgot to say theres a story about the one with the monster truck on top of it.
I found that pop off chrome mini in the phillipines....but when it arrived it was crushed....packed realy crappy....i just bourght another one from usa and decided to use the crushed one still for display purposes.....i think it turned out pritty good...
took a while to find a monster truck in the right scale though...

Great display. I was wondering about the crushed one. Well done!

Cool, love the light display.
Is '32' a tamiya nitro mini? have one too.
001 RC mini, I have one of them too.
All RC minis (real minis) are cool.
I like the one on the cake :)

The TG10-MK1 chassis under that mini shell is a standard 265 wheelbase/190? wide
touring car chassis (1/10 scale) with oversize mini body and wheels.
You could get an electric chassis or a nitro one for it real easy.
