Just got my mitts on this:

Image

Been trying to obtain one of these for years, they're so hard to find!

Its a 1/8 scale Tamiya TG10 Nitro car.

Just got to decide what colour to paint it now: thinking I'll stick with the classic red and white.
:D

I'll post pics when I'm done building it, but it'll never get used.
Chassis doesn't so much bother me, but wheels, tyres and body (especially) are hard to come by, so this can be a shelf queen with some of my others.

Nice, i have one too but mines been shelved several years ago due to needing lots of parts.

Mine has a .15 motor tuned pipe and 2 speed gearbox with the longer gearset, it was silly fast and was good for about 80-90 ks.

I bought a spare body for mine when we were in Japan a few years ago - was about the last one available I think...

Mine chewed up the main pulley last year at Hay (when Tom was trying to ram it!), I was going to buy a 2 speed gearbox but couldn't afford it at the time.... I should look it up again now though (still can't afford it)

edit: $30 cheaper than last year!

Anyone got a new spare body for one of these they'd part with?

Don't have the dilemma for what colour to paint the first one now.
