Warning with tamiya-shop, it appears to be an aussie shop, but its HK based... and I have read that they often don't have the stock they say they do.

What's with all this LARGE scale Mini's anyways?

M03/M05 is where it's at.

I wanted one years ago but couldnt afford them. Hard to get now so when one popped up I grabbed it, and another for the heck of it.

Have you ever raced RC cars before Harley?

yeah - but they were good with me - I ordered the wrong gearbox, it took them a while to get back to me and when I enquired and told them what I'd ordered, they realised I'd ordered the wrong one. They refunded the money

I like 'em big

I guy I work with gave me an 11v LIPO battery and charger, I'm kinda thinking of putting a grunty electric motor in the TG10

I don't think I'm going to be able to find parts to repair the TG10 - but then I haven't even had a close look at what's wrong - it's been sitting in the cupboard since Hay 2011

Simon, there are lots of Tamiya fanboys out there (puts hand up), and I think there is a site called tamiyaclub?? They help each other out with parts. I haven't had a look around though, as there is no problem with buying anything for an M03.

Nope, only clubs around here are gas onroad and offroad.

I really should look at getting into it, I have enough of them!

Popular club! Plenty running Mini's too.

http://www.mprccc.com/

Get bits from Tim http://www.m-chassis.com/

Read http://www.rc-mini.net/ and build your car as they recommend.

Go race!

You surely have an M03/M05 or 5 handy??

Update!

After over 18 months, I've finally painted one of the 1/8 cars!
Paint is one thing, still gotta do all the stickers.

If anyone happens to come across one of these please do notify me at once. I too have been searching for half a decade now for one and i still haven't come across any. If any one of you happens to be selling one, I am pretty certain i wouldn't say no. I have just bought an M05 Monte Carlo due to my impatience as i wanted an on road car. I wanted to wait to find a TG10 but i still haven't seen one. I did see one about 2 years ago but it was badly damaged and didn't have the mini shell anymore. It had a rally focus and a rally corolla body with it.

jebus - I'd sell mine for that!! comes with a new shell & sticker set too :D but the clutch is a bit buggered, I was actually thinking it'd be simpler to convert it to electric

look at the first page of this thread, I think Harley had found a couple of them.... they're out there

edit: I probably wouldn't actually sell it.... I'd take some convincing
