sweet - both NOS?

I'm trying to find a 2 speed gearbox - the one I thought I could buy was for a TG10 MK2 :(

Close enough: both were bought new years ago by somone else before I got them, and were either partially or fully assembled, but not the bodies. Neither have turned a wheel in their life.

Got a brand new electric chassis for one of these too. Just need to get another body.....

don't happen to know which/if any other chassis will fit under our bodies do you?

like a TG10 MK2 - though I assume there might be cheaper/better options?

I'll sell one of the new TG10 chassis I have if you or anyone want to make an offer?
Everything is brand new, you'll just need radio gear and a body.

Haven't given this too much thought, but it'll be along the lines of:

New TG10 chassis assembled, with new never started FS12 engine.
Chassis has aluminium front uprights, ball bearings all round (not standard) and different spring set.
New 1/8 scale mini rims (have to check if I have tyres though.....don't think I do).

No radio gear or a mini body would be included in that setup.
I do have a few other car shells though I could probably sort out.

When I get home tonight I'll sift through all my stuff and put what I find here.

are you able to measure the wheelbase and the width of it from arch to arch?

Okay I've had a look through what I have here and found some stuff that might be of interest to people that have a 1/8 mini shell or gas car:
Not desperate to sell these, in fact I'll probably only sell one of the first 2 and keep the other for myself.

1. New Tamiya TG10 rolling chassis:
Image
New assembled chassis, new engine, new alloy front uprights.
New wheels and tyres.
No radio gear. Missing original springs (theres another set there) and the rear body post riser (the big black plastic thing on the top in the pic).
Price: $250 posted

2. Tamiya TB01 Lancer:
Image
New, unassembled kit. Missing original 'rally' tyres, but there are slicks included.
Also missing the driver figures.
This is an electric car that is the same wheelbase and with as the TG10 gas car. It actually uses the same front and rear and steering parts, only the middle is different.
Would be a good start to a brushless 1/8 mini project as this has metal gears and ball bearings. No radio gear or batteries.
Price: $200 posted

3. Tamiya TB01 rolling chassis:
Image
Same as above, but been used. Comes with 'sport tuned' motor and servo.
Wheels and tyres TBD (may not be the ones pictured).
Perfect working order, will be cleaned up first.
No body, esc or radio.
Price: $140 posted

4. Bini shell to fit any of the above chassis:
Image
Good condition, minimal use.
Price: $20 with purchase of chassis.

5. Ford Focus shell to fit above chassis:
Image
New. Painted but never used on car.
Price: $25 with chassis.

interesting... are all TB01 cars the same?

is that Lancer the same as this but with different body mounts and wheels?
