Post subject:  Hot Wheels Italian Job minis
I bought the set of Italian Job hot wheels off a QLD ebayer, but found them in a little "mens shed" type shop in Beechworth last week. I asked the guy in the shop where he got them, and he said that his Hot Wheels sales rep brought them around.

They come in a "pack" containing various other models in the same series, like a Ferris Bueller Ferrari, Kitt from Knight Rider, Deuce Coupe from American Graffiti and some others. He said 2 of the minis come in one pack, and the other 1 comes in another pack.

I'd paid $33 (posted) for all 3 on ebay, this bloke was selling them for $12.95 each.... so anyway, your local independent toy shop should be able to get them, but you might need to twist their arm, or get them off ebay - but I doubt you'll ever see them in KMart etc.

I went into that shop in Beechworth a few weeks back and saw the movie hotwheels but he didnt have any italian job minis then so I bought a mini sign instead! I also went into the old garage up the road a few doors and had a look at his model truck collection. Great place to visit.

they must've arrived in the last few weeks then - he had at least 2 each of blue and red, but maybe only one white...

the white one is a rare one i was told... :roll:

I have all three. They've been collecting dust on the shelf for ages. :D
