Btw my offer for a monster shell still stands...anyone thinking of selling one, don't message me, I'd still love one. Still haven't taken mine to a proper track but it gets a fair bit of action. Once I have my license, I might actually take it to one. Treat it to some little upgrades perhaps...

I think it's time to invest in a personal transponder...

maybe.... can they be bought cheap? they seem to be in the $100 region and I'd rather put that towards the new tyres & stuff I need

It's a hard decision to make, but well worth it. To justify it, personal transponders DO NOT depreciate in value. A $100 transponder will sell instantly second hand for $75.

I love having a transponder. It makes race days so much easier when not having to borrow one all the time. I bought mine second hand and I would like to buy another for my tourer. The best bit about it is timed practice.

What maintenance needs to be done on the 13T HW motors?

The bearings are a very tight fit. Just oil them in situ. Nothing else on a brushless motor wears.

I agree with Poeee. Just some bearing lube on each end and that's it.

Thanks guys. How often do you lube them?

Any 4WD mini is generally INSANE!

They are a bit of fun - but tough to race!
