a couple of the guys in the Wodonga club asked me if I was going to buy a 4wd touring car to race, I said "no, I have enough things to spend money on" but I wonder if one of those would be allowed in that class... I can put a mini shell on it and my wife wouldn't know

4WD Mini's for racing are insane. The combo's we run when not neutered by the M03/M05 gear ratio are as quick as a Mod touring car.

Maybe with a 21.5 they'd be ok, but as an extra class to run at the rare occasion that you'd legitimately be able to run it, don't expect it to be easy!

Would be cool as a drift car though??

No where near as stable as a conventional touring car, with Mod-like power when the 13T combo is geared so tall that the motor cogs!

I think I'd prefer a TOP sabre http://www.tqrcracing.com/shop/product_ ... ?p_id=7092

However the price of the Hobbyking car could make it a good basher for on the street.
