On average, how many cars do you get in a 'mini' class race at your track?

Our numbers have been really low and last week it was just my dad and I. The week before we only had 4. A few guys have just bought some so hopefully we should see numbers rise again.

only 4 or 5, but only 4 or 5 in the touring cars too, and only 2 F1s. I don't know how many people go to the dirt track days, but there are only maybe 12 people who go to the tarmac days

Well I race with PDNR Penrith district nitro racing and our numbers are down, but this is normal during winter, people get turned off with the weather, l race 10th scale tourers and in the GT class, great fun! Anyone is welcome to come down and drive anything they have got in our b.y.o class, sometimes we get so minis out there.

When I first started in Geelong there was 2 full fields of Mini and nothing else!

We have a few running around in novice now, so adding them to the Mini numbers we probably get 8 Mini's to a good club day.

Mini numbers have dropped unfortunately. Still a strong class in Geelong, and probably the most competitive too.

It does seem as though it's a dying class. Probably because everyone wants to race touring cars. The thing I really like about mini is once you get your car sorted it's easy to just throw it on the tack and play. They don't need lots of tuning.

I'm happy running both mini and 21.5. It keeps me busy on race days.

according to the people in the Wodonga club, it comes and goes every few years. While everyone is even it's fun, then when someone gets ahead the others drop off, then it goes away, then someone gets keen again and it comes back till next time it dies off

The best stuff to use to reinforce your bodies is a product called shoe goo and fibreglass tape from the gyprocking section at bunnings, awesome stuff
Athletes foot used to sell shoe goo or try eBay

That's exactly what I use. However I couldn't get any shoe goo today so I have tried clear liquid nails. It seams very similar.

I just wasn't sure if people did this to a new she'll or only as a repair.

I read report that the sellys shoe glue caused the pecan bodies to warp. I guess it is all just brand loyalty hype.

Did you put it on the body from when it was new or did you use it as a repair?

When l used the selleys shoe glue it destroyed the paint, did this happen to you Simon? Is this also the same for the clear liquid nails? Athletes foot are discontinuing shoe goo, the salesmen said no one buys it for shoe repair they sell most of it to rc and hockey players to repair there sticks.

The selleys clear liquid nails doesn't damage the paint at all. It seems to be a little more flexible than shoo goo and much cheaper.

They are the areas I always repair. I will reinforce this new shell before I use it and see how I go. I just worry about adding weight.
