On second thoughts, just get this. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281013311030 It's the Mini control combo in Australia. They are bullet proof, simple, and QUICK if you need them to be. |

Nice plan. I think the M01 handles a bit better what with it having laterally mounted shocks. Let me know how it goes! |

Well they are only friction shocks. It's probably wise to go and get some alloy oil filled shocks. Don't have to be expensive and you don't have to get them, the standard ones will do the job...just. |

I went a different route to convert. I bought a 1/10th FF03 chassie which is a Fwd chassie. It has a very cool front shock setup. The Tg10 rims and tires fit on under the 1/8th shell. I did a silly thing and cut the lower bumper off the shell as it had a huge foam bumper. Fits nice without the old bumper and foam. Just have to fit another bumper to save the motor. It handles nicely I would love to go Brushless....time will tell
