While clearing out some old paperwork I came across this article I'd saved from a 2004 Melbourne Age newspaper. It's not Mini but I thought the model collectors and model makers on here might appreciate it.

Harry Firth's HDT workshop was at 35 Queens Avenue, Hawthorn here in suburban Melbourne. The building still exists (do a Google street view). I went there a few times when I had an LJ Torana XU1, once to get a Halda gearset for an upcoming rally (where I biffed the left guard into a bank  ).

Some superb model making by this guy.
