ok i will rephrase it .

To me the original is the best and the way they all should be. The clubman is just a shape I dont like from the front, its just like any other car some models u like some u dont

yeah yeah dont worry one day i would love to have a proper 1960's mini to toy around with and restore.

The Clubman is a Mini.

When you are throwing it over the dog leg at Oran Park it makes no differencel if it is a round nose or a Clubman from where you are sitting!

This argument is a little pointless isn't it? A Bini is not a Mini, a Clubman is not a Mini, a Mark II Cooper S is not a Mini, a Van, Ute, Traveller, Moke, Jem are not Mini's

I mean if you follow the logic to it's ultimate conclusion then nothing could be called a "Mini" unless it was Sir Alec's original design. So technically [following the logic] a Mark II Cooper S is not allowed to call itself a mini because it differs from a Mark I.

The bottom line is that they are all Mini's and they all are great little cars. We all have our own preference amoungst the vast variety of flavours they come in or can be modified towards. Just admire the history, and the charm of them all.
