the only place i have seen adverts for this kind of stuff is in the UK mini mags. I know minimania in the US stocks it so theres an online option. Maybe try mini2.com they'd know and theres an aussie section in there.

Actually he is more than happy with the spi so I would get the MINI Cooper.

so its gone from dumping on Ryan for thinking of buying one, to your hubby buying one for work, to you wanting one for yourself... from one extreme to the other :!:

I wouldn't say that the above question is dumping on him for buying one. I was just totally taken by surprise. He went to all the trouble of finding out info and buying a Rover spi only to sell it straight away, and now he's thinking of buying a MINI Cooper.

I wouldn't "dump" on the MINI. I have been loaned one several times from Nick Stillwell of Bib Stillwell MINI Garage and also BMW Group Australia. They are fantastic to drive. Even drove one of the Cooper S with the John Cooper Works conversion. I'd absolutely love one but can't afford it.

If you read the article in Fast Fours or Car Audio you would find out that I listed this as my dream car.
