incorrect

the 2005 production model will have another 5 or so kw and a few nm off torque and possily shorter gear ratios.. this was done mostly to make the 100kg heavier convertable model not so much of a slug.. nothing to do with JCW

and like a sales guy was never mis-informed

The official news and revised spec list is on the US Mini website.. most of which was known late last year/ early this year theres 2 much flash and nonsense and its too painful to navigate for me to link directly.. but changes go into effect from 2004 july production models.. a little earlier than normal i'm guesisng because of the introduction of the convertable

and end of 2005 the NA peugeot engine is supposed to be comming in.. so JCW stock cooper s's and all the punters who bought early flushing 10 grand down the toilet? not going to happen.
