MINI have confirmed that they will have a display of the latest models at the 2011MINIexpo on May 22nd at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
Check out the latest features or take a stroll around the new 4 door 4WD MINI Countryman.
More details of the show at www.miniexpo.com.au

Have you actually seen on?
Its a whole 3 inches longer and 2 inches taller than a clubman, and they are only 4 inches longer than the hatch.
It's still only a small car.

umm yes i have seen one. There was one parked next to my classic mini at the top gear live show. And yes they maybe only a bit bigger than the current BINI's they are still huge just like the current BINI's are in comparrison to the original minis. Cant you not see the irony of calling a car a MINI that keeps getting bigger and now has 4X4 and resembles nothing of the Issignosis design

It's called a Countryman, it's made by MINI.
Issigonis called his car a Mini, it was made by Austin and Morris.
Those 'silly' people at MINI have launched yet another car that everyone is talking about. Cannot imagine why the company is so successful?

No, I think you are getting 'them' confused with the Board members of BMC and Leyland. They laughed at the Bubble Cars, oversaw the introduction of the Morris Marina, destroyed Triumph and Jaguar then drove the remnants of the business into the dust, using friendly tactics of course.

I think that the new MINI may be aimed at a different market than the original. There is a good selection of new relatively cheap simple small lightweight cars available for people to choose from, 15 manufacturers, one shape. MINI isn't one of them. Thanks for the pictures of your Fan Club by the way.
