My Mini Ray is still under new car warranty so I have no worries for a while. Like most things if its looked after i.e serviced regularly I don't think you'll have too many dramas. Remember it is a BMW,they don't make shitty cars. Late model cars are still too new to be having too many dramas. Try and get a low km late model car if you can. |

Just been reading up on the early tritec engines and they are said to be pretty bulletproof is this true or are they worse than the later engines. Thanks |

The engines themselves are fine: it was the superchargers and gearboxes that can be a let down. |
