What is the factory servicing costs like on the current model Cooper Clubman - and also are there any high dollar services up until up 120,000km and if so how much?

Have you rung a dealers service department? They were really helpful when I spoke to tem a few years back.

I rang my local BMW dealer to see how much for the 15000 km service for my Mini Ray and was told it would depend on what the keyfob told them it needed when they downloaded the info from it. So I took it for a service and had no idea on what it would cost. As it happened it was $500 but was told that next time it would be less at around $300 because this one was a more major service.
I read somewhere that the servicing costs were comparable to a Mitsubishi Lancer based on the Lancers cheaper but more frequent servicing and the Minis dearer but less frequent servicing.

Customer of mine said BMW wanted $1600 to supply and fit an alternator for their MINI and it would be a few weeks because they had to get one in...

Yes parts are not cheap for the BINI :(
Water pump $400+ fitting
I have just had a thermostat housing replaced, $400 including labour
Some services were over $1000 but it did include brake pads

Frankly those prices are ludicrous. Doesn't help when BMW charge ~$200/hr

Does anybody do their maintenance of the older model Binis? Especially the first series of the Cooper S with the supercharger
