G'day guys, I just wondered if the K's on a Cooper S are stored on the Speedo head behind the steering wheel or on the Computer? If on the computer, which one? the engine one etc? Thanks |

Only way to make sure is to ring a automotive gauge repairer, they should know. |

Its gauge and engine ecu together I think, you get errors by changing one because the car knows somethings changed. |

Yes your correct, I remember its stored in many locations to stop tampering , inc the KEYs... if either is out. It will freak out.\ Hope this help. If the guage is faulty, you have to take it to BMW to get it coded |
