I wonder if it will get to the point where people are fitting jcw accessories and engines to bog stock std minis and trying to pass them off as jcw

and why not? Ha ha.... By the time you pay for everything you'd need you may just as well buy a JCW! Im still looking for a good low K supercharged JCW then sell the Bini I have :D

Harley, I just want to say you make some very good points there. Some of those things I hadn't thought of.
So the idea is to collect parts and panels now if you have a modern collectable.

BMW have been doing it from day dot....

Car popularity is generation specific....buy a Monaro, they will be making better Minis for years yet

I have a 2002 JCW BRG White roof, Bought a lowish milage 79000km, Fully loaded, with the 2005 JCW Kit... Certainly a future classic car...
