With Bini's running on run flat tyres why is a jack and wheel spanner provide with the car?

I guess they are run flats not indestructibles? Plus you have to take it off at some point don't you? and you would run it down to the local tyre shop in your other car in the modern world is the expectation (along with the expectation that there is a store nearby that has stock......)

They're run flats you drive to tyre shop and ask "do you have a new tyre for my Bini?" If the guy behind the counter is nice enough he'll probably consider it a fair swap! :lol:

and what if it is 400Km to the nearest proper garage but a man/woman says to you "I have a spare that will fit, maybe we can work something out (pointing to your wallet)"
