| Post subject: | Problems with mini convertible roof |
I have a 2005 mini cabriolet which I bought about 6 weeks ago and the roof has just stopped working. I can open the sun roof section but the rest of the roof will not retract. I've tried various different things, including trying to reset the controls by holding down the central locking toggle. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Perth area that specialises in this sort of thing? |

Hmmm they can be a bit finicky from what I have heard. Are you nor or sor? |

Check the rear parcel shelf. If it is not on properly it will stop the roof from working as there is a switch that it sits on. |

Tried that. I've been told the tension bow is broken. Can anyone recommend a garage in WA that can fix this? |

You could try the dealers Auto Classic or BM Technics in Bayswater. Also Stokes & Renk a mate of mine is dropping his jcw off there for a clutch, they were cheapest of the 3. |
