I am wondering which would be the best mod to do first, Change the exhaust or change the air intake.
My 06 cooper S has an Alta 15% reduced pulley and the "one ball" exhaust mod.

I am looking at getting the Alta air intake box kit or the Alta cat back exhaust.
So which would give me more power for the money spent?

Id probably do air intake first. The alta ones are pretty good, I did before and after dyno runs with the GTT one and lost power with that installed so wouldn't recommend it.

Had I known the difference the alta rear sway bar made it would of been one of the first mods I did, made a huge difference to the handling.

Do you have the 19 or 22mm sway bar? I never thought about a sway bar on a new mini and its a fairly cheap mod.

It's a 5 week wait from car mods australia to order the 19mm bar so ill wait as its about $100 cheaper.
Are you still running the GTT cai? and roughly how much power did you use?
In the meantime its the Alta cai for now.

Thought provoking thread. Have you done any more mods? How's the car running with the mods?
