I have an r53 cooper that was recently in a front end collision, I’ve decided instead of sending it to auction to instead restore it. Due to massive subframe damage and a seized engine I’m looking at finding another that’s had rear end damage and splicing them together. The one I’ve found that’s interested me is a 2006 convertible cooper s. My concern is swapping interior and body parts. Would you be able to use most parts from a cooper in a convertible. Mostly interior parts such as the seats, dashboard, interior trims. And body panels like the rear lower bumper, side doors, and the wheels.

You might get a better response at http://www.mini2.com/forum/ as most of us only have knowledge in the classic minis.
