yep, guy that was doing my roadworthy said everything about teh car was fine, except the lines: he said they aren't completely illegal, but rather "marginally legal" there's only a few companies that make QLD road legal stainless lines.. and if you get imported ones they need to be complete with documentation bla bla bla. the fact that motorsport and aviation industry use them means sweet FA. I'm pretty sure mine are aeroquip hoses, and i told him this, and he'd heard of the brand, but without the SAE, DOT, WTF, LOL markings/paperwork he said he cant' give me a roadworthy
i would have kept rubber hoses except i have metro discs and these are the hoses that i got with the brakes.
so i trucked the mini to a mini parts/mechanic guy about 30mins from where i live... since he got the hoses for me he didnt' have any questions, just filled out the form
i guess they dont' look at rubber ones that closely, just look at the condition but stainless lines stick out like the preverbial
