Okay guys I need a new Box.
What do I look for of course I want a full syncro.
Additionaly its going on to a 1100+60 and a 731 cam and atisipating a Graham Russel 202 head upgrade.

What box and has anyone got one that will be worthy

Mini-K box. Remote, not rodchange- so it doesn't try to imitate an 850 one and climb out of the car!
If you want MK2 S ratios, go buy an S 1st motion shaft and cluster- that's all it needs. :wink:

I'm am not to worries about cheap :shock: This Is Morris and what something that will last in Sue's mini. What should I look for in a good Gear box that will last and possible give a little more performance.

er.. I got one of each.. :wink: but they came out of a gearbox that the idiot PO ran out of oil. Cluster needs its bores grinding and bearing sleeves fitted. Hardly worth the trouble. Ist motion shaft not perfect inside either, really needs the same deal, or grind out for the larger 18mm mainshaft bearing (used on later rodchange).
Know someone with an internal cylindrical that will work for nix?? :roll:

kev when i pull the motor of the box could i get you to look it over and tell me if any thing needs replaceing cos i'm going to rebuild the cooper motor
