Bought full set of Metro Vented 4 pot brakes in my rucksack from London. Very funny. Only got asked once what the 14kilos of metal was in my rucksack. Still brakes like a very brakey thing!

I was having a chat with Greg (miniclassic) when he was in our shop the other day about heads, he also reckoned the aussie made 8 port was the way to go if one was to go that way, but he reckoned they need a grand of headwork to get them right even then.... 3k jumps quickly to 4k... bummer

Have a look at flow test comparisons here-
http://www.planet.eon.net/~chichm/tech/8-port.htm

Graham Russell was porting the Elder head for him a while back, but these figures were taken before this was done.

Do i recall reading on his (Marcels) site that there were pretty severe casting defects in the Elder head? And he sent it back? Has Mr Elder got his casting sh&t together now? What kind of warranty does he offer? For $3K +$1K to machine it, i would expect top quality casting.

Colin at Spriteparts also reckons he gets more HP out of the Elder head than the Arden or Westlake.....
