I paid $35 for dizzy and coil at a help yourself yard. I was lucky though - all the cars in the yards I'd been to had been raided already. This one had already been pulled and was sitting on the inside fender with its cap off and sitting on top of the air filter. Looks like they got distracted and forgot it

Do you need the coil with the dizzy, or did you just grab that while you were at it?

I love it when someone does all the hard work then leaves it behind. I got a brand new water pump that someone had taken off and then left behind. $5

....but in saying all that, I took a brand new Clubman dash pad out of a wreck, then left it behind. Thought I couldn't afford it.....ah regrets...

3.5 hours north of Brissy. Between Childers (where all of those backpackers died) and Bundaberg. Population about 100.

Fitting the dissy for more power and realilability (sp)

Rupert

Not Wacol - Oxley. and it was about 3 weeks ago. - if it was you I've been blessing you ever since for cutting the wires about 2" from the body

The Dr recommends getting the coil - see his notes

I prolly driven through Cordalba then. I did a stint in Mackay for a year. One year of my life i'll never get back.

Not trying to Hijack this post but I will. I remember paying for an mg metro electronic ignition with the promise of same (increased performance/reliability). How do I verify what I got?

OK then. I retract my comments about Mackay. Apologise for any hurt.

Sorry all.
