Thats a serious conversion.... although i think i have a few problems with it
That inlet manifold looks somewhat restrictive, specially with those square ports and 90 degree corners! Although i suppose it might have been the most feasable way to get the car running
Must have hacked into the bulkhead to fit it?.... looks like a bulky supercharger, i spose most blown mini's i have seen have used some bulky blowers, if I had a go at any kind of forced induction one of my primary aims would be to keep the body stock...
I notice he has left the sidewalls of the engine bay in place instead of fitting bars and there appears to be minimal additional strengthening... is this strong enough? Dr? any thoughts? From where im sitting it looks like he has chopped a good amount of strength out of the car by removing all the front panels....
Not to hack on Dodge, damn thing is probly a rocketship, and i dont know what strengthening has been done to cope for body chopping and extra power, just a few observations
... Hey if it makes 130hp who's complaining muuhaahaa but on the other hand once can almost get that reliably from a carby fed A series
might have to keep my eye out for a supercharger or twin turbo setup that might be able to be shoehorned into a mini with no need to chop anything.....
