Chong,
Get thee a copy of Mr Vizard's bible- `Tuning BL's A Series engine'.

On P57 (my old copy) in the section on ram charging, it shows various ram pipe shapes.

I copied this one (sort-of) from the bottom pic, it gives 5.8% more flow than a carb without it.
Also it improves low speed and mid range mixture control, on a Weber or Dellorto.

Yes I'll make you some I guess. Won't be free though- I gotta buy the alloy bar.

$60 is the price of that book on the web at www.pitstop.net.au but if you buy it in town you will save freight.

68 just dont confuse it with Vizard's earlier "how to modify your mini".

Doc could you put me down for 2 45's?

I've got a pair of the tiny 1 1/4 inch stacks that go inside the K & N filter. When one of them cracked I've tried to find some more but everyone seems to think they dont exist as Kevin said. (Minispares only do 1 1/2). So we had to weld the existing one.

Yep, 2x45s.

I just gotta work out total numbers, then buy some 70mm alloy bar...

Oh so I need 'Tuning BL's A Series engine' not 'how to modify your mini'

I'll have to check at lunchtime which it is...

[EDIT] This one right? http://www.pitstop.net.au/pitstop/prog/ ... M&PLU=8858

Get the Tuning BL's A series engine one first. More in it. 8)

Buy HTMYM if you ever get to the end of the big one...

Remember, they don't call it the bible for nothing  Highly recommended - there ARE other good books about, but Vizard is the be-all and end-all ;)

Here are the K&N stubstacks I mentioned above.
I reckon they would work inside other SU filters too.

Link is to MiniSpares new (hush, hush!) site.. 8)
Enjoy!
