Ok, i'm gonna throw a spanner in the works here. everyone has been on about HS2, and HS4's with ram tubes. Can anyone tell me if they know of any for a HS-6 or HIF44??

I know you can get ram tubes for HIF44s, as easy as you can for HS2s and HS4s. I couldn't say about stub stacks such as the ones that fit inside the filter such as the K&N tapered job, so that you can retain some bulkhead clearance.

Not sure. My local guy ordered one in for a bloke from a place in Sydney (not sure which). Got the last one they had, apparently the dude who made them retired and took his tools with him. So now he gets them from UK, but I'm sure somewhere locally would have them.

The ram tube or (ram stax) 1.5 inches long as described on minispares will fit under a ram flow filter. Just as long as the ram flow filter is a centre hole and not an offset type.
I bought Dr Minis ram stax and have ordered another from minispares in the UK in a short 8 to 10 weeks depending on there lightning fast delivery service I will be able to tell you if it made a difference.

Yeah it'll fit under there but won't breathe too good- too close to the foam. I'd go a pair of UniFilter socks instead..
We tried these socks on Baracade's road 1380 with 45 Weber, on Russell Engineering's engine dyno, and got 110HP, no power difference with/without. 8)
