Hey there people!

Now, I have a 1275 witch I plan to turbo charge later down the track. I am wondering what mods I should do here.

i have heard that the scatter cam is the way to go, and that I should get the head flowed..

The block does not need to be bored, so ill leave that. And ill have the crank maybe ground and balanced....

The cam that I took out of the 1275 has already been ground, so I could not exchange it for the police pursuit cam that i was going to get. But I think the scatter cam is the way to go, or the metro turbo cam.

Has anyone out there, of know of anyone who has turbo charged a 1275?

Many thanks, josh

Yep, `red850' on the MiniSpares board has done it. It's a +.040" overbore, stroked to 1400cc. Runs a Metro turbo setup. Not sure what the boost is, but hell, it lays rubber!
Good for 13s-14s on the 1/4 mile.
Was running 13" wheels but he couldn't get traction, now he has 6x10s with Yoko A008s.

BTW his gearbox is a rebuilt stock Mini-K... no straight cut sh!t.. 8)

He doesn't have a website, and I don't have his mail handy (I just fitted a new HDD and Win XP Pro last nite....)

Go search for red850 on the www.minispares.com site 8)

Scott,
I'm really an engineer, but I USED to be a closet computer geek back when we had Windoze 3.1... I enjoyed it back then.

NOW I think it's all a real pain in the ass. I bought a LEGAL copy of Win XP Pro (yes, really!) because the Jolly Roger version kept crashing, but it is an OEM version so wouldn't update the old XP. So **** it- I bought a new 80GB HDD, only $88- cheap!
Now it works... well Windows does...pity about all the other applications whose files Windows scattered willy nilly everywhere.so f'all else works (Hell, I've only got 3 HDDs with 5 partitions!)

It's starting to piss me off.
