Hey all,

Just wondering what sort of seats you guys have fitted into a mini.
I was in my brothers VT commodore S the other day and it seems to have very short but hery supportive bucket seats. I haven't done any measurements but wondering if anyone else has had a go at trying to squeeze them in? I think if u removed the door pocket they could be a chance. will probably measure them next time i see him.

Just wondering what other car seats you have fitted in or know of as fitting in.. i hear the 626 seats are a gem in the mini...

i've always loved VT SS/HSV seats...VERY comfy and supportive too.....but i reckon they'd be WAY too wide to fit in a mini....you could try, but a set of decent SS seats wouldnt be any cheaper than aftermarket jobbies though would they?

I'm running Alfetta GTV seats, they're comfortable but too bloody heavy. So I'm fitting a Cobra Trophy for me, and a POS Morris 850 one for whoever is hanging on..

yea, I was in a wreckers recently where you pull the parts yourself ( i love those places ).

I was getting some stuff for my Rex and there was a Hyundai Excel (late model) next to me. I stuck my head in to look at the seats and I reckon they will fit perfect in a Mini. The floor pan of the Excel is exactly the same as a Mini. It has a raised section running from one side to the other, and this is where the front of the seats fasten to (same a Mini).

So my theory is that they will bolt straight into a Mini! They don't look too wide either (like the Commo seats would definitley be)
