I'm running a TRW square box one (same as a Facet or Purolator) on a 1310 road car with a big cam & rockers and a 45 Dellorto. No regulator- I just use a Purolator glass filter at the carb. It fuels it OK to 7500 rpm or more.
Pump is 10+ years old and still working fine. Motor didn't miss a beat at Wakefield Pk today. :D
