I know most people think that a mini isn't a mini unless it has an SU carby, I even think so myself but has anyone ever fitted a carby from a japanese car, twin barrel with vacuum secondries and an AUTOMATIC CHOKE ?

I have heard of people fitting progressive twin choke Nikki carbs to Minis (I believe Nikkis were original fitment on Geminis), but you'd have trouble getting a manifold for it, and if you were going to go to the effort, you may as well fit a weber (28/36 and 32/36 webers are pretty common).

Well that's my two cents,
Anto.
