Next with some help make manifold to put Fazer bike carbs on Elder head.
Bloody cast one would be good but a one off cost would be too much

They mix stainless with aluminum all the time on modern cars so cant see to much of an issue.

As for manifolds, shouldn't be to hard to make a couple. All you need is flange plates to suit head and carbs and some slightly bent pipe between. All part of the fun!

All outboard motors run SS bolts in alloy. To prevent corrosion, OMC used lanolin on assembly.

Hi Guys
Try using Duralac jointing compound
It is chromatic containing, and inhibits electrolytic decomposition between dissimilar metals. It is a single pack air setting product which will prevent anode decomposition even in a harsh marine environment such as stainless fittings on alloy masts and booms on sail boats
Available most marine distributors / ships chandlers that are involved in sailing
It works
Cheers
Ian

Carefull barium chromate isn't good to eat though, try not getting it on your skin in large amounts it can stick around a while. Used in aeroplanes as well as sailing boats. doesn't last forever though, well out on the water that is.
