Hello,

I have been looking to fish my Reece carb


However I have ran into an issue when I have rotatedthe float chamber I can only get it to operate between half and full throttle,,

Anyone got any ideas?

I've never seen one in Australia in the few years I've been into minis. Do you have the Vizard book? There is lots of info in there.

Tried to make one work many years ago on a normally aspirated and S/C engine. Experienced similar issues that you are describing. Wrong size carb for the engine. Put it back in the museum or on eBay and use something else.

Cheers for comments guys!


I managed to solve my issue after I slept on it!

I rotated the float chamber another 180 degrees and found that to work correctly!


Now all I need to do is sort the vacuum advance pipe, and the manifold vacuum for the servo and I'll be on the road!
