Post subject:  SC12 advice

Hi all,
I'm planing on a blown small bore for my 68' deluxe using Bens conversion kit. I've already got the SC12 so now planing the rest of the build. Currently planing on something along the lines of +0.060" overbore or 68mm like what Graham Russel has done.

I'm hoping to hear from those of you with experience with the sc12 and got it all working smoothly or have heard of someone who has.
Whats your set up?
Was it all worth it in your opinion?
What sort of numbers are you getting (hp/ torque)?
How reliable is your setup/ life expectancy of the engine?
Was there anything you wish you knew before you started that you now know?
Etc...

I've heard some mention the engine will be perfectly reliable so long as the engine was built with a blower in mind. What components should I take note of to make my 1098 SC12 certified? Forged pistons/ rods, lightened flywheel, competition diff pin, etc??

Cheers,

Cheers for the links. I read through your thread earlier tonight, good read and still relevant today.
Didn't see Dungers thread though, must of missed it. Definitely a different way of doing it although as I am an extreme novice, may be above my skill for the time being.
