So I took my unknown 1100"S" powered mini out for a good run yesterday and managed 28 lts for 330 km { 11.7lt/100 or 20 mpg}
It has a single 1.5 su, reasonable exhaust, mild head work, unknown comp / capacity / cam specs.

I just kinda wondering if that sounds like an alright figure or if I'm maybe over fuelling it a tad, I do have an o2 sensor arriving next weekend so I can then check the afr and see where it is.

cheers Jon

Are you trying to make it as efficient as possible?

I have no idea what my 1275 gets but it smell rich and goes like the clappers. It's not a daily so I'm not concerned about the efficiency.

Sounds a bit rich to me. As Laingy's 1387 stroker with single HS6 got 9s or less when checked on a few runs.

Well I've had it on the road for just over a month and yesterday was my first chance to get a load of kay's on it.

I might have to wait till next weekend for the o2 thingy and see where it is fuel wise go from there. It is a daily but I only travel 9km to work each day.

Further down the track I hope to inject it so this should be an ok way to "log" what I have and what I get from changes.
