Hi

I would like to swop my 8.4" discs for 7.5" system so I can run 10inch rims
On my Mini K. I haven't had the car too long a few months so I didn't add the
8.4 inch brakes myself. I am considering just buying the discs, calipers and drive flanges
Does that sound sensible or should I purchase the whole 7.5 system ? Is there any
specific parts that could be worn out on the old system that I should be careful of ?
If I go down the part replacement route have I missed any parts from my shopping list ?
Thanks
Jason

I think you can machine down your current rotors and use certain calipers, not sure if Cooper S caliper would work.
KAD 4 spots for 10" wheels are are based on vented 8.4 disks machined down with their calipers, but I'm not sure what other calipers might work

Do I read that correctly  MS calipers are UKP150 odd cheaper than the "genuine" (???) S version?

Cheers, Ian

that's all you need, and pads obviously

edit: here's the kit, up to you whether it's best to replace everything... the upside of that is that everything is new, but $$ may be better spent elsewhere

edit: oops, sorry Andrew, I saw the link in your post but forgot...

I got my kit from Karcraft, but I'm sure any mini parts suppliers can do a kit for you.
I only replaced the bits I needed to.
