Looks like motor must separate from gearbox, turn upside down to release lifters, pull cam, then access to lifters????

to remove them, you don't need to remove the gearbox, just gotta turn it upside down, then take the camshaft out, turn it back over and shake it a lot. They'll come out of the sump plug hole eventually...

Unfortunately it takes an awful lot of very lucky shaking to get them back into the right spot
