If you use roundie radiator brackets and lose the fan spacer, probably. I don't see why any Mini needs these 70mm rads unless there are other issues though... |

I have a 55mm in my roundie - I modified the shroud to pull the radiator closer to the motor and it fits fine Matt I wrote: unless there are other issues though... does 100hp at the wheels count as "other issues"? |

Squeezes in nicely with the shroud modified though. it did help... wasn't too bad on the standard radiator, but the extra capacity made a difference when it needed it Now the blower is off, the big radiator is still there and can do motorkhanas with my kids all day at 82° |

Thanks guys Rob suggested there may be three different types of radiator brackets . Looking get rid of spacer on water pump and maybe run a metal fan |

I cut the inner wing shroud out and mounted the radiator directly onto the inner wing using some aluminium angle iron as brackets - one long one at the front and one very short one to secure the top of the radiator at the back. Radiator removal is a 5 minute job. |
