As part of my Cooper S rebuild project, I’m going to be needing a decent stage 3/4? road/race spec 5 port iron cylinder head. Apart from Graham Russell who else in Australia can supply a performance 1275 head suitably modified with quality 35/29 valves, port and polished chambers, magnesium bronze guides, double valve springs, etc?

I have heard Martini has a good reputation but not seen any of their work first hand.

Or should I seek to procure one from the likes of MED, Slark, Calver (does he still do the MS heads?), more costly no doubt but presumably top notch stuff. Any recommendations?

Thanks, I don't have a 1275 head to supply/send to be modified so am looking to buy one that is already modified.
