Ahoy all,

Dad purchased a a Dellorto DHLA 45 for mum's Deluxe over the weekend and is in need of an air filter for it.

From what I can tell the K&N 56-1690 should fit but would just like confirmation please, either that or are the Ramflo filters a better option?

TIA...

I used a ramflo and a 90 degree speedo adapter, haven’t tried the KN but it’s pretty tight back there.

What engine/manifold are you using?

Engine is a 1310. Unsure exactly the manifold that is being used, but it doesn't look too long in the runners... the car is also running the later model dash/speedo, so that opens up some space at the hole in the firewall.

I'm running a Weber with a Ramflo filter with no problems to date but it can get a little fumey. I would prefer to run a slim K & N but it won't fit. BTW, love the sound of the Weber under load compared to the SU.

Thanks mate, I might wait until I go and see the car again, make some measurements and see how it goes on... on the plus side, a Ramflo is a shedload cheaper than the slimline K&N filter...

If you buy a ramflo it needs to be the offset one, with the holes closer to the bottom of the backplate.

minisport.com.au has them, some people on here have been caught buying elsewhere.
I use a unifilter lnx400 oiled foam pad, it flows better.
I get away without a 90° angle drive, using a Redline 3005 manifold.

Here's the filter's we run on our Weber...They're available from Weber Performance in Melbourne and we're also running 16mm ram tubes as well.

We've also fitted a angle speedo drive as well.

Hi Mark,

It's a Mangoletsi linkage kit: Weber DCOE single cable WEBLP4241 and we purchased it from Burtonpower in England.

They're 68 pounds (+ shipping).

The throttle pedal is 'awesome' and there's infinite adjustment as well...Worth the money!

Cheers,

Paul...
