So what's with the trackside sensors? Do you have to fit them to the racetrack, or do racetracks run them for your use?

The tracks have the timing loops under the track surface. The system works quite well.

But....

It is rumored that the Dorian system will be replaced with the AMD system.

I thought the two were compatible anyway. I thougth you could use a Dorian on the later stuff anyway, just with limited functionality.

I dunno! I hope they still work because I have a Dorian as well. :lol: I was told a different story but it was a disgruntled ex-timekeeper that told me. :?

my dad had it for when he was racing formula vee, thats also how come i rocked up to BATTLE DAY in a racing suit :lol:

i think he said it was a few hundred bucks
