Car looks great Brad, wheels with the colour of the car suit very well.

You're not half wrong about daihatsu and BL https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innocenti_Mini

Looks and sounds great, love the wheels.

Looks like it goes awesome! How did you get the original speedo going with the different engine?

I think Morris was planning to put Daihatsu engines into minis one day as the Daihatsu speedo cable fits directly into the mini speedo.

The speed is not 100% accurate but it is close.
I have the gps speedo in at the moment and it is showing around 5% difference between them.

that's ADR compliant!

Plus or minus 5% over 60km/h i think is the figure.

Does anyone know if there are any version of the old Japanese "Combat Battle" series with English subtitles?

This one is pretty cool, fast forward to 2:30 for the start.
At 4:35 you see how much talent 4efte drivers have :)

It has a battle with:

Nissan March Super Turbo - MA09ERT
Daihatsu GTXX (Gtti) - CB80
Toyota Starlet Gi - 4efe
Honda City CZ-I - D13C
Suzuki Swift Gti - g13b
Ford Festiva GTX - BJ 1.3L
Toyota Starlet Gt - 4efte

They started English dubbed Best Motoring some time in the late 90s which then became best Motoring international. I have a few episodes, can upload if you want.

I intend to join you on that run, should be a good test to iron out any issues, see you there.

Not to good Ben.

First run I tried a 2nd gear launch and bogged it down with a 3.2 second 60 foot time. Ran 90 mph for a 16.3.

Then there was an oil down from a Mazda and it took them 2 hours to clean the track so only had time for 1 more run.

Tried a first gear launch and had to many revs and just spun the wheel ( no lsd yet) did a 2.7 60 foot. It ran 95mph this run and a 15.4. Track was like ice after the clean up so it was hard to get it to hook up.

I think it has a high 14 in it if I had some more laps, next time hopefully I can get off the line with a 2.0 60 foot and with 95 mph should get a high 14.

Sure is Simon, I haven't done many km's in it since it has been on the road and it made it back the one and a half hours home pretty easy really.
