Hey mini dudes,
I’m stripping the rear subframe and need to get these things off but turning the nut only spins the other end. Is a special tool required?

Also, what are these rubber blocks mounted to the subframe for?

With the spinning thing... see those two little holes in the face of the other end? They are for a pin spanner, or whatever else you can find that will do the same job. Search for 'pin spanner' on ebay. They are not expensive and are adjustable. Alternatively you can try gripping the outside edge of that round end of it with a pair of stillsons or similar.

The rubber blocks are exhaust mounts.

I use an angle grinder key to hold the shafts.

Me too. I have a large adjustable one for my 9inch grinder. If that doesn't work then I use the grinder!
