Is there a process to get the pump working on the car ? It works ok in the laundry sink I have water to the pump from the bottle in the car but it does not want to transfer the water to the 2 windscreen washers.

Do you have the one-way valve working correctly?

Is the tubing new or are you sure it will pass fluid? are the nozzles clear?

I couldn't figure how it was meant to be originally. So used a 1way valve on each side of the pump.

Changed mine to electric, using one of those generic pumps (same as on later models). Push button switch fits in place of the old manual job quite nicely.
To hell with originality!

Can also be used in an emergency if your fuel pump fails
