Would anybody have a water pump pulley for a suzuki G13B, or failing that, could someone measure one so that I could either get one made up or find one off a different make/model

Cheers,

Adam

Should be easy enough to find- lots of wreckers have the 90s swifts / barinas- I’ll bet the water pump from a g13 also fits a g13b.

I have called nearly a dozen places so far, no luck yet. They all say too old! I will keep trying though.

I should have a couple here in my spares box.
Will check in the morning.
Assuming you want a 3 rib pulley to suit a Mk1, but you can use a 4 rib pulley with a three rib belt (as the early MK2 did).

That would be awesome awdmoke. I am having no luck with the wreckers. The drive pulley and alternator have three ribs on them.

Cool. Thanks fuzzy-hair-man. Out of interest, how did you find that? I have trawled the web looking.

I've never had much luck with wreckers via the Web or over the phone I almost always go look.
I was there just wandering about, the best wreckers have so many cars they don't know what they've got so you've got to look yourself.
Other people watch TV or shop when they're bored I wander around wreckers looking for interesting things or parts that might work.
The Hunter / Newcastle wreckers I've been to seem a bit limited, there was a good one at beresfield but I believe it's closed, I found a decent one south of Swansea on the old pacific hwy, they want a lot for bits but they had lots of cars so would be a good option. Budgewoi Auto wreckers it seems.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. It is a crying shame Beresfield Wreckers closed down. They had heaps of stuff.

Try redlinegti.com it is a Suzuki GTI forum. They may have info and parts for you during this build.

Are Suzuki GTI’s becoming difficult to find now too? I imagine 4efe and 4efte are also.

Begs the question, what other street legal engine conversions are there for a mini?

Vtec, yes but not in SA.

Daihatsu Charade, I’ve only ever heard of one.

Nissan micra k11, other than that there was talk around the yaris 1.5 litre engine.
13secmini did a daihatsu 3 cylinder turbo that fitted nicely.

Why can you not have a VTEC mini in SA?

I’ve never heard of one here... but, if you can have one here in SA I’d love to do it!

You may not have heard of one, but yes, you can.
There are not a lot of Vtec Minis registered in Australia yet, but there are a few under construction with at least a couple in SA.

And theres not a lot of them because they are not a simple or cheap conversion!
