Hi, wondering if the N12 Nissan Pulsar distributor
will fit in an early A series motor ( eg 1968 ) or
will it only fit in an A plus engine ?
regards, Winston.

I have fitted them to both engines.
The body's flange needs machining down circular to fit.
An A series drive dog will fit on the shaft. Drill thru both to fit the Mini's 3/16" drive pin.

An A+ drive dog will fit with the shaft bushed, the A+ drive pin is smaller diameter. And the A+ finger clamp works too.

Seriously though, their advance curve isn't ideal for a Mini and the plate needs mods to limit advance to 9-10 deg at dizzy.
Getting scarce too.
It's easier these days to fit an electronic module to a Lucas 25D, 29D, 43D or 45D dizzy.
